We decided to take data on the temperature ranges in the light boxes. LabQuests were set up to collect data over the weekend.
We also had other plants growing from the extra peat pots. Those needed to be transferred to Earth Boxes. We have had issues in the past with keeping the soil out of the water reservoir. After a discussion, we decided to have one with tool material over the grate on the bottom and one with gravel at the bottom. We also placed soil moisture probes attached to LabQuests in the dirt to measure if the water is moving up through the dirt regularly.
"We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained." Marie Curie (The first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the only woman to win in two fields, and the only person to win in multiple sciences)
