Episode 2 of Becoming Human

We are going to watch Episode 2 "Birth of Humanity" of becoming human.

Please be sure that as you are checking your fast plants, you are continuing to collect data. Hopefully we will have flowers on Monday!

Finish up Becoming human, look at Chromosome Connections

Finish up all of the activities that go along with Becoming Human.  

Also, go through the "Chromosome Connections" (here is some helpful background info)-- this should add evidence to your conclusions.

Your final document should include

• Conclusion paragraph(s) that includes
• what you learned from the video, building bodies activity & chromosome connections

• Answer the questions
• Review the background info for "Building Bodies"
• Get a kit and complete the assignment, following these directions 
• Envelope (ziploc bag) labeled "Part 1"  should include pieces labeled
• A, D, E, G, I, K, L, N, O, P, R, W
• Envelope (ziploc bag) labeled "Part 3" should include pieces labeled
• C, I, L, M, U, Y
• When the skeletons are put together correctly, the letters should spell out something to give you a hint as to which hominid the skeleton belongs to.
