Open Note Quiz & water lab
Make sure that your quiz from Friday is complete by this Friday (1/31/2014). Remember to come in during advisory if you need additional time and/or help :)
Today we are going to complete a lab about the unique properties of water.
One person in your group needs to create and share a google doc for your answers to questions and information that you need to compile for the lab. The assignment will be on Canvas soon :)

Pre-test and on-line book access
Today we are going to take the pre-test
Once that is complete, then get on a computer and check that you can still log onto the on-line textbook. You are responsible for knowing the information in Chapter 2 and Chapter 3. Once you have read the chapters,
- please take the review quiz,
- take a screen shot of the results (that also shows your name or something to prove it's you)
- Create a google doc or drawing
- submit the link on canvas

Directions for submission on Canvas
If you are having issues or questions about submitting an assignment on canvas, use the picture below to help :)
Submission check and continue to work on Organic Compound Models
As you work today, please don't forget to complete the "submission check" assignment on Canvas. You are submitting a link to the google doc where you answered the three questions for the assignment. Please make sure that you change the privacy setting for that document to "anyone with the link can view" before you copy the link into Canvas.
Continue to work on your organic compound models. As you complete each activity, you can create the ONE document to upload to Canvas.
If you happen to be done with everything, then you can read the Science World magazine at the front of the room.

Welcome Back! (organic model day)
Welcome back!! Hope everyone had a restful break :)
We are going to spend the next couple of days working on molecular models.
Click here for directions on what you need to build. Please take a picture of each model (with a label of what it is as well as your names visible) when they are completed. We should have enough models to work in groups of two.
